2024 Came in like a Hurricane bringing much Joy with a splash of Drama. Outside of what happened with Chicken Little and the Bottom Feeder, 2 of our Does gave birth, but unfortunately only Thunder has survived. Jolene gave birth to still borns and Penelope lost 2 out of 3 (Amanda just passed this morning).

We did find our perfect home in Gainesville after trying to build on the farm for 2 years. We wanted to build our custom home, but after 2 builders fell through, so did our confidence. The timing was perfect since when we looked in Feb, our home was just listed for 4 days. We brought Cannan in from South Florida to work with our new friend Denise to make this deal go as smooth as one can expect.

We are also looking for a builder to create a small home on the Farm. We noticed our neighbor in the front hired a builder for his home and will see if they can do ours.

We are Rob and Jess with La Giannini Acres. The 20ish-acre farm is relaxing and becomes our hidden spot away from the hustle and bustle of the regular day-to-day. We found this property during the Covid times by visiting a local farm in Anthony, a town a few miles away. After staying 1 night on the Anthony Farm with our travel trailer, we knew this was what we wanted for us and our family / friends. La Giannini Acres is situated perfectly in an area of private farms that raise horses for show and race. Waking up in the morning with a coffee in hand and you will see the trainers on the track working with the horses and our goats either in the maternity area or in the 2 paddocks in the front. We are enhancing the farm in every capacity possible without taking away from the natural beauty it provides.
